Pizzeria Delfina Palo Alto

Excellent pizza place with a large variety. I went with a large group and we ordered a number of them. The Panna and Margherita pizza were delicious. The pizzas with the eggs were interesting and delicious. The star of the show was the ?cheese balls? appetizer though, and I feel like I can eat 20 of them. Good desserts too! This place is small, so not ideal for large groups. This place is open all day unlike the place next door which is only open for dinner. Theatmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it great to go out with friends or on a chill date.

Everything tasted great. I love tartare but usually you just see steak tartare so I enjoyed having this lamb version. Appreciated that the pasta sauce did not overwhelm the delicate nature of the crab. The cod came out perfectly. Did not take a picture of the pudding cake bc we did not notice that it was a pudding cake and we were so full from the rest of dinner that we saved it for the next day. Unfortunately it became a bit melty and sad looking haha, but at least itstill tasted good!

The menu is limited, but the thin-crust pizzas are absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients was noticeably high. The service was decent, although there were only two staff members on duty and it was quite busy. Since it was my first visit, I can't say I've tried a wide variety of the menu. However, the meatball dish and all the pizzas I had were excellent. They also offer a gluten-free option for the crusts.

Recommended to us by at least five people when we arrived in San Francisco, we decided to check it out on our second night. Wow! I've never had such mixed feelings about devouring so much pizza at once. We ordered a total of seven pizzas for a party of five and managed to eat every last bite. The staff was great—friendly and attentive—which made the experience even better. They also had a solid selection of craft beers, and we even encountered a couple of friendly dogs passing by who were eager for some affection. I can't wait for my next trip to San Francisco!

This is a fantastic neighborhood gem that offers some of the best food in the city. Some standout dishes include the oxtails, fig salad, chicken and prosciutto pasta with truffles, and the carbonara pie.
