Frank and his family are super friendly and nice. All the dishes are of top quality and the fish very fresh always on display at the entrance of his restaurant. Will def keep going there when stopping of passing by SF. I really enjoyed the crab carbonate.
Worth it for the Cioppino alone! Was good value, massive hearty stew for two with crab, scallops, prawns, fish, squid, mussels clams! Seafood lovers heaven :
The food was DELICIOUS.....no picture, forgot, as it looked too fabulous to wait. I ordered the daily special Shrimp Gnocchi. The added twist was the addition of squid ink gnocchi mixed with traditional ones along with asparagus bathed in a creamy buttery sauce. The serving portions are generous reasonably priced. The table next to me ordered Cioppino. The couple gave it rave reviews too.....HUGE bowl fill with fresh seafood. The menu is mainly seafood. The seafood is fresh. There are a few non-seafood vegetarian items. If you are not a seafood eater, you are missing out.The restaurant is small and tables are very close together, which not a negative criticism. In fact, it adds a homeiness to the dining atmosphere. The owner his wife are very hospitable, welcoming and friendly. He is very entertaining and has many stories to share.
SO GOOD. We ordered fresh halibut cooked with some garlic, lemon, and capers. It came so delicious with potatoes, polenta and vegetables that we were literally sopped up the plate juice with the yummy bread. Can’t wait to return. Excellent service. The Chef is amazing!
