Fun, quick place to get a really good briskit sandwich. After sitting down I then noticed the amazing acrylic pride art work. Beautiful, detailed work. I took a pix of each one for the review. Enjoy!

July 3, 2017 and not busy in the Slider's Diner $30 later... After nearly 20 years 3+ new owners, the current new ownership has lost their way. I just ordered my usual mushroom avocado hamburger fries with a side of onion rings to share. Burger was raw in the middle, the cook forgot the extra cost mushrooms avocado. Onion rings fries were half the customary portion, cooked to death and hard as rocks. (What's up with cutting the fries portion in half?!? C'mon how much do potatoes cost this place for god's sake! . And on top of it all by the time the raw burger was done the rings fries were served COLD! How hard is it to prepare something that is their main menu? The cook is clueless. Save your money and walk a half block up the street to Orphan Andy's

Make sure they cook your burger meat thoroughly. Took a bite and the inside of the burger was pink. The patty fell apart in my hand because it was undercooked. It was the color of a rare steak. The condiment bar is nice though.

This used to be an old neighborhood standby for good burgers and fries, but after last night's horrible dinner we will not be back. Our veg burgers and fries were totally undercooked, the cook was totally annoyed when I asked for different buns because he did not get our request for regular not wheat, the ketchup was full of water, the condiment bar looked sparser than usual. I have been going here for years and it looks like they have made some changes, not for the better. The place was dead, we were the only ones in there for part of the time. I think others in the Castro have caught on that this place is not the same anymore.
