Somisomi - San Francisc

They have a sweet corn ice cream this season!! So had to try it. It was good! It was all a sweet corn lover could ever dream of. They took out banana milk it seems.

Somisomi: A Sweet Treat Worth the Hype Somisomi is a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth. We decided to try their signature tayaki and ice cream and were not disappointed. The tayaki was the star of the show. A fish-shaped waffle, it's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We opted for the custard-filled and red bean-filled varieties. The custard was creamy and rich, perfectly complementing the waffle's texture. The red bean filling was okay for me but my friend loved it. Cookies and Cream Ice Cream: was different from the classic taste but I loved it. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. Overall, our experience at Somisomi was fantastic. the friendly service made it a memorable one. If you're looking for a delicious and unique dessert, Somisomi is definitely worth a visit.

Very rude staff. She wouldn’t give an extra macaroon to a 3 year old. Would have happily paid but the staff rather follow “rules”. Very disappointed by the service

A very Instagram worthy place with delicious Asian soft serve flavors and good taiyaki. Bought the upside down ahboong for $7-8, and it comes with a cup of soft serve, taiyaki (pastry shaped like a fish with delicious filling inside), and unlimited toppings like a Marble Slab or Cold Stone. The soft serve flavors were very good, and included flavors such as ube, custard, cookies and cream, matcha, banana, and more! The filling inside the taiyaki had similar flavors as well, but I'd highly recommend going with the classics: red bean or custard. Sometimes you just crave ice cream and this place hits the spot. I'd highly recommend coming here if you're in the area and have a sweet tooth.
