Voodoo Love - San Francisc

This place is fire. I've dined in twice and ordered grub hub delivery once. My dine in experience was wonderful. I came in on Halloween and they had a DJ playing music. I had the shrimp and lobster roll as well as the chicken waffle. The sandwich was buttery, rich, and moist. The spice and seasoning on the chicken was also on point. I didn't care for the waffle much. The texture was a little gritty, not my favorite. I also had the spicy chicken sandwich, which was solid. My partner had the Mac cheese and some sort of sandwich, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Wouldn't recommend delivery/take out though. Ordered chicken and waffles again. The waffle was hard and dense, probably because it arrived at my house about 20-30 minutes after preparation. It definitely did not hit the same.

Great place with a variety of food choices . Decided to go here after we saw this place on Yelp. It had four stars so we had to try it while visiting San Francisco. We could not find it at first . I literally thought we were in the wrong place. I was ready to turn around and leave but there it was from the outside it just didn't seem like we were in the right place. Once we asked some folks we realized we were right in front of the place! I ordered the chicken ,red beans and rice and corn bread , my daughter had the chicken and waffles.it was really very flavorful and delicious will definitely go back when I drop my daughter back off to college in Berkeley.

The chef and owner provided a wonderful experience for us today good food, good service, and a lovely DJ. We had the chicken and waffles. Loved it! The chicken was seasoned right. The waffle is not a traditional Belgian waffle; it's a dense waffle that seemed cornbread like it was the PERFECT pairing with the chicken. I also had the shrimp and grits. It wasn't a traditional sauce for the grits I don't know what it was, but I loved it. And I'm a hard critic of Louisiana food from people who weren't born and raised there. This food is me approved. I think she's moving to a new space. I'll find her there.

I love the food and the love of Voodoo Love Restaurant. appropriate named and most of us don't she color. Im a 50 year old white man. Apparently I appear very scary. Of course the people that know me, shoot Im full of stuffed polar bear. These fine folk were so welcoming , I will be back with my wife. Thank you all staff, well done. I wish you the best.
