They open up till midnight so if you want a comforting bowl of noodles, they're until then. The ambiance was really quiet and the lighting was very soft, so it just reminded me of simple Chinese restaurant settings.I really liked the noodles because they were all handmade and it tastes super fresh. The portion size was pretty good, and the flavors of the noodle soup were well made.I ended up getting the House Special Noodle Soup, and the first thing that really stood out to me was the Beef Rib. Very tender and it literally fell off the bone. That was my favorite part. And the texture of the noodles was perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend getting this one. The Chongqing Chicken Wings were good too. I liked the stickiness of the sauce and I felt like I could taste that hint of black pepper immersed in the sauce. Pretty good appetizer to start off with too. Overall, this is a solid noodle place to come to and I would make my stops back here again!
As a Chinese native, I can confidently say that the noodles at this restaurant are among the best I have ever had. I would rate them a perfect 10/10.
Looking for an authentic Chinese noodle place. This place got great reviews. Sadly I agree that the lighting was poor and it was too quiet. We had spicy beef noodle, spicy pork and duck noodle all with rice noodles. Duck noodle was a bit bland. Beef was tasty but lacked some depth. Spicy pork was ok, portions were rather small for price.Agree that service was challenging bc there was only one waitress and it was busier when we got there. She did give us a pitcher of water when we asked. I did smell the house special beef noodle which smelled great.I might consider another try.
I am sure that for those of you lucky enough to live in the city this noodle shop is just one of many you have to choose from but for those of us who drove 5 hours to get here Wow what a treat. So good, wish I lived closer so I could explore the menu but this will just have to go into the memory book of special dinners.
Not the best noodle placeCame here thinking the yelp reviews looked good. Turns out, the place is very dark, no lights. The tables are wobbly and shaky. Not the cleanest restaurant out there. The food is slightly below average. The menu has a variety of noodle options. We ordered 4-5 noodles of different variety, with different meats (chicken, duck, beef etc), with different soups (spicy, sour etc)Unfortunately all the soup noodles look almost the same! Thai soup is not really Thai soup, they just take the chicken soup, add some coloring and call it Thai soup lol. There is virtually no taste difference between the options. The amount of meat is also very little. You get like 1 shrimp with small bits of meat. The lack of meat is also another reason why all the different noodle options look the same. A duck noodle and a beef noodle and a chicken noodle all look similar, if they have very little meat. The price is ok. And they did honor the yelp check-in for a free sausage, although the sausage tasted kind of like powder. Not sure why.Overall, an OK place for noodles!
