Blue Mermaid - San Francisco

My family and I had an amazing New Year's Eve dinner at this restaurant. From the moment we sat down, our server engaged us in friendly conversation and explained the specials on the menu for the evening. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and the recommended bottle of wine paired perfectly with our meal. Even though we were already full, we couldn't resist trying each other's desserts, which turned out to be absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was ideal for a celebratory night and put us in high spirits to welcome the New Year. We are looking forward to dining at Blue Mermaid again during our next vacation.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times over the years because their clam chowder has always been a favorite of mine. However, during my most recent visit, I found it to be quite disappointing. While the other dishes we ordered were satisfactory, I believe it is time for me to search for a new favorite clam chowder spot in Fisherman's Wharf.

This restaurant is overpriced and has poor service. The menu advertised crab cakes (plural), but I only received one for $28. The frisee salad that came with it needed more dressing. I would recommend avoiding this place.

The restaurant was cute but the food was not good. i bought the mac n cheese w/ lobster and it made me want to puke after the second bite

The food was good, but the portions are too limited compared to their price.
