Absolutely wonderful place! My favorite in North Beach.

Highly recommend! Atmosphere was classy and relaxed, everyone was warm and welcoming, service was top-notch, and of course the food was delicious. A perfect experience.

What an absolute delight this place is! Food is phenomenal and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Highly recommend.

We arrived around 6pm for a 6:15pm reservation for 3. The host seated us in front of the restaurant right by the front entrance. We kindly asked if we could be seated in the back as there were many open tables for 3-4 people. He gave a cold shoulder and said those are reserved. Well we had a reservation too. Just couldn’t understand why he could not be more accommodating. It was noisy in the front and the table by the front door consistently has cold breezes coming in whenever people were in and out. Our server was wonderful though. She was very attentive. My dish was grilled short ribs and it was as super tough despite it was medium. Overall, I might give it another try if I am in the area and have no other better options.

The Caesar salad was amazing! My family tried 3 different pasta dishes: spaghetti meatballs, penne all Arrabbiata spaghetti Pomodoro. All were delicious! The atmosphere was relaxing with great photos to look at. When we return to San Francisco, we will be sure to visit again!
