Chouchou French Bistro - San Francisco

For not being a fun of French food, I found this place to be pretty good. The food was just right and the service was outstanding.

The Staff was quite helpful in seating us and serving our food promptly including putting a candle on our dessert to celebrate my Birthday. A Great Neighborhood Eatery.

The Cassoulet was out of this world; it was so flavorful and unique with bone-in duck. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, the ambience was very nice and comfortable. The French onion soup was fabulous as well. The owners were super grateful for our business and very friendly.

We came here for Father’s Day dinner and our experience was great. We ordered mussels, duck confit Wellington, rack of lamb and lobster ravioli and they were all superb. The service was amazing . Would definitely come back !Food: 5/5

Disappointed with food. Last time I was in Chou Chou it was pre-COVID. Probably now Chou Chou has new management? The lamb rack meat was very chewy. Very fatty. The duck leg did not have much taste. Maybe it is intended to be very mellow. But too mellow for my taste. The escargot were very good.
