This is a gem. A dive bar that serves legit Ethiopian food? The owners are friendly and helpful. It's honestly off-putting how good this is, since they clearly just bought a neighborhood dive to make a business. I look forward to cementing this review in 30 years from now, when this place is an institution.
The restaurant/lounge we were expecting to dine at turned out to be a dark and dingy bar. It was not the welcoming atmosphere we had hoped for, so we decided not to stay.
Casual restaurant offering delicious Ethiopian cuisine with homemade injera.
Called excited to finally order some Ethiopian food in SF. However, the woman on the phone was clearly not interested in a potential customer and told me she didn’t have time to answer my questions about the menu after less than 3 mins. Very disappointed as I was looking for a regular Ethiopian spot :
