Fog City - San Francisco

The salmon sandwich and the pommes were great. could some of the best pommes in the city.

I mourn the loss of the old fcd. Why the present owners have unraveled and rebuilt an SF classic to turn it into a garish chaos I cannot imagine. they even took the classic farley originale and store them. and unfortunately the food has also declined. it is now a place only for tourist guides in the hand.

Good service and eating. flank steak deserves something beside the fritten (drilled vegetables). very tasty steak but should be paired with something comparable. husband loved the porch! we had our 13-year-old enkel with us so that the virgin cocktails were a nice option.

The old fog city diner was magical and delicious. This new fog city was sooooo noisy we had a hard time talking, ordering and enjoying. Will not go again until we hear something has been done. Very sad

Coffee maker had broken, so they couldn't serve coffee during Sunday brunch. Had to explicitly ask for an Americano as a substitute, and they charged full Espresso prices for each Americano rather than coffee price as a courtesy. Generally, service was not helpful, friendly, or gracious.
