My wife and I are on vacation in SF and picked Fog Harbor based on reviews on Open Table. We were able to secure a reservation, were seated promptly at our reservation time and had a very attentive waiter. The blue cheese garlic bread was awesome, but way too much for two people. We split a garden salad and the mixed grill and added crab to it. They have two menu items that are crab in the shell, but you can add crab meat to any other entree. The mixed grill had salmon, cod, shrimp, and the crab. All were excellent. Green beans were the veggie and were cooked perfectly and buttery. We passed on dessert as the rest was very filling, though the dessert tray looked tasty when we saw it go by a couple times. The views of the bay are beautiful with the sun setting over the Golden Gate just as we sat down. This is not a place for a quiet dinner it is quite loud inside. This was on a Wednesday night. Overall, definitely recommend.

We went here for New Year’s Eve dinner and had a lovely time. Initially there was a mix up with our reservation and we had to wait extra 20 minutes but it was well compensated by our wonderful waiter Shawn. All the dishes our group of 4 ordered were delicious, fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I know it’s in a touristy area, but really is a great restaurant. Food is always delicious every time we have been here and the prices are reasonable. If you go during the day, there are beautiful views of the bay that are fantastic to see while enjoying great food and company. Forgot to take pictures of the food, but had the seafood platter and clam chowder this time and it was all prepared well and really tasty. We will be back again!
