They offer a variety of pastries, both sweet and savory, along with other delicious items, including fresh fruit. Although their menu is quite limited, it features quality options that are perfect for a quick grab-and-go meal at the Ferry Terminal.
**The Detailed Review:** On Monday, I decided to treat myself to breakfast (because let’s face it, yogurt and berries five days a week can get monotonous). I opted for a stroll to the Ferry Building and chose Frog Hollow Farm. I arrived at 9 am to find no line and ample outdoor seating available. Here’s what I ordered:
I came back to San Francisco just for this restaurant! Here are a few reasons why you should eat here: 1. The carnitas empanadas are absolutely amazing! I dreamt about them for weeks! 2. The tarts are incredibly delicious and melt in your mouth! 3. The fresh orange juice is a perfect way to start your morning, and the coffee or vanilla latte is fantastic too! 4. The peaches are delightful! 5. You can enjoy your breakfast either by the wharf or indoors.
The Best Fresh Fruit Parfaits. I went to Boulette's Larder and was eyeing the Frog Hollow fruit parfaits and all of their fresh fruit tarts and much better prices than what we were paying next door. We came back the next day and enjoyed the amazing fruit parfaits.
I swear that Frog Hollow Farms has the best peaches and nectarines I have ever tasted. So, so, so delicious. And their tofu sandwiches are not bad either. I know some of you are not into tofu or tempeh, but these are so good here! YUM. LIKE: Peaches, Nectarines, Sandwiches (tofu) DON’T LIKE: NA MIXED FEELINGS: NA PRICE: Reasonable, less than $10 per item.
