Contribuisci feedback23$ for a Pinsa is okay given the circumstances and location, not great but okay. The dough was super good, but there was far too much of the typical American cheese on it for my taste, which unfortunately detracted from the taste. Still, I would come back.
We tasted the best Vera Pinsa Romana in all of San Francisco, with 72-hour sourdough dough, we were kindly welcomed by the owner, we ordered a cotto with mushrooms and a buffalo mozzarella. All accompanied by 100% Italian music.
Worse pizza I’ve had in SF. The order took forever then when we got it the prosciutto had a slimy soap texture. Made us feel like the meat had gone bad. We went in the afternoon. It was dead. We bought the pizza and sat on the empty table outside to eat. The staff AGGRESSIVELY slammed his fist on the window and yelled: no takeout! Like what kind of establishment is this. Do not come
Cool restaurant but the pizza is actually trash. It's just not for me. Super cheesy, dough is undercooked, and did I mention it's super cheesy. Just ridiculously cheesy. It just tastes bad.
We were looking for a pizzeria close to Hyde Street...and we were based on the flattering comments left on this establishment (rated 4.8).... But what a disappointment!!! The pizzas are very basic....and frankly we have more often eaten better pizzas than worse ones,,,, the rating of 4.8 left us perplexed!! Everyone has their own opinion... but frankly disappointing...
