I go here all the time for the small plates and the burger and fries. the burger is less than 4 and the fries are less than 4 and the small plates are HUGE, with at least 8 pieces of meat and one scoop of rice and macaroni for 11. definitely worth the price. the fries come out nice and hot.the bad reviews are people with high a expectations from a cheap restaurant. you get what you paid for and i'm satisfied with what i got considering you pay more at other places that are ACTUALLY bad. if you wanna spend less than 15 and want some nice crispy chicken katsu or beef with rice and a canned drink then come here. or if you're a broke student then get them fries and the spam/chicken katsu musubi for 2.30. musubi's are hugegood to know: they charge a 4% service fee for card, and take cash. i think it's cash preferred. and food takes at least 5 min to come out, so speedy service and they're nice.

Their food is spectacular. Their service is good and their food is just amazing for a good price I might say.

I get the same order as usual but lately they have been charging more and more each time and don't provide a receipt. I get the same order for $14.05 and now it's $14.27. How is that possible if I'm getting the same thing from last time and I also notice they always end up charging me $14 and another 5 cent or $15 and another 7 cents. And that's bc they want the extras dollar and give you change since ppl don't usually carry 5 cent.. it's very sketchy. As for their food it's fair, a bit over priced..

I've went to this Hawaiian Drive Inn a couple of times and the food always tastes good! I will definitely come back again and hope that this restaurant gets more recognition! Customer Service: 9.5/10Food: 9/10Overall, I believe this Hawaiian Drive Inn location is underrated and deserves more recognition. I would definitely recommend others to try out this place because the food is amazing especially the loco moco!
