The food is outstanding, but I had to wait a long time for service, and I didn’t receive everything I ordered. They could benefit from hiring an additional staff member to ensure food and drinks are served in a timely manner.

Delicious food! We tried the chicken plate and the vegetarian combo. Both came with Injera. Food was very tasteful and everything tasted amazing and fresh. The vegetarian combo came with 5 articles. We asked to add garlic to the chicken onions, which was a game changer. The staff is very friendly and even came to explain the dishes to us, as our first attempt was Ethiopian. Very recommended!

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I ordered the veggie combo. The highlights for me were the key sir and the lentils. I don't usually like lentils, but these were so flavorful! I also loved the injera; it had a nice slight sourness and a chewy texture that complemented the veggie dishes perfectly. However, I have to give 3 stars for the service. It took about an hour for us to place our order and receive our food. It seemed like only one person was handling everything, and the wait was just too long.

I could let the picture do the talking, but I want to share my experience with you. Ever since I arrived in The Bay, I've been searching for authentic Ethiopian cuisine, and I've finally found it! This is the best Ethiopian food I’ve had since my visit to Ethiopia! I ordered the Veggie Combo, which I use as a test for every Ethiopian restaurant I try. If they get the Veggie Combo right, I trust that everything else will be delicious. This husband-and-wife team did not disappoint; every dish was perfectly seasoned! My friend had the chicken with a side of chickpeas, and it was absolutely finger-licking good. We also enjoyed their spiced tea, which was delightful. The decor in the restaurant truly transports you to far-off places. Thank you, Elias! As promised, I will become a regular and bring all my friends to Tadu Ethiopian.
