It's a cosy and casual place to grab a bite. The food and service was great. Noise level was perfect for having a conversation with your table without feeling like the next table can overhear you even though the seating is a little cramped.
Liked the non sushi/sashimi options in Japanese cuisine breakout experience for Yosemite who have never enjoyed Japanese curry!
The food was good, mostly. A couple of dishes were bland but the others were very good. But the service was TERRIBLE! We told the waiter we had a time constraint and he said he understood but we waited and waited for the last dish. He actually offered to give it to us to go, but that would do us no good because we were going to a music performance and couldn't take it with us. We wound up paying the bill and then sitting and waiting for the last dish, which a few of the group wolfed down. We BARELY got to the performance on time, and we should have had plenty of time. Don't go here if you're in any kind of hurry. They just don't understand speed of service.
Great food and meal before seeing Hamilton walking distance to theater). Fun place to eat with friends. Highlights- uni and soft boiled egg and ramen salad. Would go back.
