La Boulange At Union - San Francisco

Food was decent, rather straighforward turkey/cranberry sandwich. Quantity of turkey meat on the lite side, otherwise could have been a 4 star rating. The location is in a great area, a lot of vibrant activity and great sites nearby.

All I can say is that this place is super delicious. Everything here seems to be done right (and I mean french). Open face sandwiches with cheese baked to a chewy/crispy texture, fluffy strawberry napoleons, 4 thick french toast, and coffee in a BOWL for dipping your pastries in. Everything here tastes really good and fresh, even though there’s probably a lot of fat and calories in everything. But who cares. If you come at a bad time, the line will be out the door. Yes, it’s mostly organic. This place will make it into my weekend brunch rotation.
