Stopped by La Laguna Taqueria after volunteering at the Marin Food Bank with some coworkers in the morning. The man behind the counter (presumably the owner) was incredibly inviting and friendly, and full of great recommendations. This place is apparently known for their carnitas, but unfortunately, I don't eat pork and was unable to try it. I opted instead for two simple Carne Asada Tacos. The Carne Asada definitely wasn't the best I've ever had (I usually prefer my carne asada with a slight char, but I really appreciated how much they fulled up their tacos with meat, it was almost overflowing, my boss even made four full looking tacos with the two stacked tortillas. The tomatillo sauce on top was also very spicy and flavorful, which made the tacos even better.Definitely will come back when I volunteer again, if for nothing else but support a great small business in the area.
Great Mexican place. I had the Chili Verde and it was excellent, but all of it looks good. Big portions too.Wheelchair accessibility: You can park across the street in the strip mall. There is an accessible crosswalk and the door is big
Ok burrito taste wise too expensive for small size. Jamaica drink was goodFood: 3/5
It's alright, the burritos were good but not enough to fill me up. I ordered 2 steak super burritos and my total came out to $30. The price is reasonable but unreasonable when the burritos weren't enough to fill me up.
