Last Drop Tavern - San Francisco

Staying at a nearby hotel Had a wonderful meal here. Took the suggestion of the staff to try the fried chicken with brussel sprouts and seasoned potatoes. Very, very good followed it up with bread pudding. If you are hungry and in the neighborhood, give them a try.

We went there after a day tour where our guide recommended this place, and also because they close late. The service was really fast and nice, the place is small and kind of cozy. The portion of the food comes big, so we ended up boxing our leftovers for later because we didn’t anticipate how big it was going to be. The menu does not have that many options but the food was good. It’s a great choice for a late dinner and a few drinks.

The Last Drop Tavern is a dive bar with a slightly intimidating atmosphere upon walking in, as all the regulars give you a curious glance. However, once you're served, they offer tasty food and an impressive variety of beers. The chicken wings are particularly popular for being delicious, but be warned - even the mild option is quite spicy. If you can't handle the heat, opt for the "naked" wings instead!

The service was quick and attentive. The Mushroom Melt was delicious. I would recommend trying the Truffle Parmesan tater tots as a side dish!
