However, after waiting for nearly 10 minutes, there were still two people ahead of me and only one person had ordered. I believe that if a business is offering something for free, they should have more than two employees working. Waiting 10 minutes for a cup of black coffee, whether it's free or not, is too long for my liking.
Hear me out. This place was so dam good, that I did not even take photos. Tried the smores latte, cookie and the seasonal turkey sandwich. Everything was amazing!!! Best sandwich I've tried for breakfast. Best latte I have had in a while, did not even have to add sugar. Cookie was so soft and delicious!!! You must try this place if you are in SF!!!
I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because of their affordable prices. It's not a top destination for breakfast, but it's a great spot for a quick and cheap meal if you live nearby and don't feel like cooking. The prices here are similar to a corner store, but you'll enjoy the cozy coffee shop atmosphere. The sausage, egg, and havarti breakfast sandwich for $6 is a steal compared to other fancy bagel shops in the city. They have a limited selection of bagels (plain or jalapeño cheddar) and cream cheese (only plain), but the plain bagel itself was surprisingly good - soft with a nice chew. The fluffy egg filling needed some salt, and I found the ratio of egg to other fillings a bit off. I wasn't a big fan of my breakfast sandwich (tomato, egg, pepperjack avocado), but I could see the potential. Plus, at $6.50, it's hard to complain. The Nutella latte was delicious, although I couldn't taste the coffee much - maybe because it was more like Nutella and milk. I'm curious about their sandwich menu, especially the Sam Spade.
Cute little sandwich shop that felt family run. I enjoyed the Sam spade on Dutch crunch which had turkey, bacon, avocado and lettuce. My boyfriend got the Effie which had roast beef and pastrami and my favorite addition wasabi. The sandwiches were fresh, hearty, and delicious. Perfect for lunch or picnics!
If you just woke up and wanted to start your day with quality food, head on over to this little cafe, serving up delicious bagels, sandwiches, and yogurt smoothies! I got the sausage, egg and havarti on a spicy jalapeño bagel, and a strawberry banana smoothie. Really delicious with super friendly staff.
