Was so pleased with the wide variety of offerings at this clean and quaint bakery! From cakes to scones to cookies to tarts there was so much to choose from, even at 5:30pm! We ordered a few things to go: eclair currant orange scone chive cheddar scone onion and sesame baguette The scones were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I am an avid baker and have worked in bakeries for many years these are top notch. Tender and soft on the inside, crispy on the top and edges and loaded with mix ins and flavor. The best part is they are BIG! One scone is almost enough for two people to share. They also offered scone dough pre rolled into balls and chilled that you could purchase and bring home to bake in your oven! I also saw cookie dough for sale. The baguette was delicious with the right amount of chew and a ton of flavor from the onion and the seeds. I enjoyed the eclair but wish the filling was pastry cream, rather than Bavarian cream (but this is solely a personal preference! I also ordered a coffee which was strong and super hot perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful and very accommodating as I ordered a ton of different items. There was no seating inside, but a few tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy. HIGHLY recommend!
We live in the neighborhood and absolutely love this place. They serve the best latte on West Portal. Their Rugelah is also delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Always happy to come in and see them smile. Great culture in this place. Please keep up the great work!
Pastries here are delicious and big! I got the almond croissant and butter pecan swirl and they were amazing! I always pass by and see line so usually will skip this spot but I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed :
Asked to charge my phone (after ordering a coffee and giving tips off) that was dead with my own charger), and i needed to contact ASAP someone, but they told me they can't accept to charge a phone from a customer, without any explanation. Just wondering what it would have cost to charge a customer' phone for 10 minutes.
