My go to for a special occasion. Unique experience and better sushi for $165 than I've had for $600.Food: 5/5

Cute 8 seat omakase tasting menu inside the Japantown Plaza. There are 3 menus to choose from. Ordered some good sake too. The nigiris were very fresh and there was some cool appetizers too. I felt like I was in Japan again.Food: 5/5

I received multiple emails and messages reminding me not to miss my reservation, yet we were seated late. I ordered sake, but it arrived much later in the meal. I left a custom 10% tip due to the subpar service. Then I got a call stating there was a network issue with my payment and they asked for my credit card, telling me that a 20% gratuity would be added even though I intended to tip less. I won't be returning.

We were excited and curious to try this place, but was disappointed by the food. The service was good, and the price is ok for the quantity of food, but if you want really good sushi you may want to look elsewhere.

I had dinner here on Saturday, November 26, with my brother-in-law. The food was quite good! I was served O-Toro instead of the A-5 Wagyu, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted great, except for the abalone, which I wasn't really a fan of. I do wish they had a wider selection of premium fish, but overall, I was satisfied with my meal. I’ll likely return after we’ve tried all the exclusive Omakase experiences that San Francisco has to offer!
