The noodles was good, however they gave us like one thin slide of chashu pork so we had to order another order to share. However they gave us a whole boiled egg instead of half, so that's what I like. The service was also good so I wood come back.
There was space when we went, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The server was really nice, and attentive but also have us space while we took time to look over the menu. The food takes a little bit to come out, but the wait was worth it!I had the Orenchi Ramen, and it was really good! They use large noodles over the smaller ones which is fine. The broth was really yummy, and you could tell they put love into it. My friend had the Donabe Ramen and he loved it. I found the broth for that one to be too thick and far too salty.Overall would definitely come back!
OK I feel like it's been a while since I've had a ramen place really impress me, so kudos to Orenchi!!! Their ramen has the thick noodles which I lovvveeee and they really hold the broth flavor really well. The broth was also amazing, so flavorful and really strong garlic which I'm a fan of. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and the chashu was delicious, though I wish they gave more than just one piece per bowl. Pricing is pretty standard for SF, so expect it to be around $15-20 for one bowl. I also got the appetizer of spicy chicken karaage which was pretty good too! And also kinda on the spicy side so beware if you aren't a spice connoisseur!!
It's so yummy and I love the atmosphere. The staff are very sweet and it's really nice to see them making everything from scratch with the open kitchen. We always sit outside and enjoy the heat lamps and city vibe. Tonight we both had a bento box, but my husband usually gets the udon. The bento has such a gorgeous presentation that it always makes him jealous when he sees my meal! ?
Solid spot for ramen. Their miso and tonkatsu broths are usually my go-to. Flavor packed broth. Moist protein. I love that they use a paste for the added spice levels instead of powder -adds much more flavor impact. Eggs are always perfectly soft boiled. And if you order togo, it's packed very neatly, with toppings separated for easy heating. And it also comes with instructions! Big win in this delivery era!
