Rooster Rice - San Francisco

This restaurant does not serve authentic Thai food. We ordered the vegetarian meal and were disappointed with bland tofu, an abundance of brown rice, and a minimal amount of steamed vegetables. Overall, the meal lacked flavor.

This restaurant is absurd. It is clear that they have fake 5-star reviews. The prices are far too high for the subpar quality of the food and service. Additionally, there is a strong unpleasant smell in the establishment.

Delicious, nutritious, and satisfying. I adore this restaurant and appreciate that they provide a serving of broth with every meal.

We Placed a Door Dash delivery order today and specifically asked for and paid an extra $2 for a fried or medium well egg with our Original Rice Rooster meal, even Called twice after the were pinged that the order was on its way to be sure that it was right. The server agreed and ensured that our order would be prepared to our liking- 30 min later after we received our order, Lo behold- the egg was runny, very runny, so were unable to eat it. We called the shop

Clean, fast, sauce could be better. Rice was little in dry side but the chicken was delicious and cooked well. Presentation was great and soup was good. Khao mun Gai is becoming popular so hopefully more places like this to come.
