Legit Korean flavors, good prices and service, excellent drink options. I recommend going straight for the soups and stews. The chicken soup and yukaejjang are especially good. Great house-made kimchi. Naengmyun is also great, but the mungbean pancakes were a bit bland (add some chili! .
The service and the food were good but it’s a bit overpriced. We ordered their signature steak (golbi — might spell it wrong :p), pork belly, shrimp, and one soft tofu soup. For me the shrimp was the highlight. One side note is that their lettuce (for you to wrap the meat) was probably one of the best I have ever had at KBBQ in west coast.
Came here for dinner with a friend, who suggested that Seoul Garden would be a quiet meeting spot. At 6PM on a weekday, the restaurant was practically empty. I was impressed with the service here Appa came by with a big smile on his face to take our orders and wrap our leftovers for us! The food itself tasted pretty standard. There was nothing necessarily special that separated Seoul Garden from other Korean restaurants I've visited, but everything was tasty and hit the spot. I especially loved the marinated seaweed that came out with the rest of the banchan. I was a little shy to ask for more, but it seemed like you could easily ask one of the servers for extra banchan. Portions here are also pretty generous enough to take leftovers home for the next day!
We came here two nights in a row because it was just that great! While prices are high, it's expected in an expensive city like San Fran. Service both nights was great! Food was absolutely amazing. We did the korean BBQ Grill it yourself, and enjoyed it both nights! The bulgogi and galbee were both delicious! The place is quiet , which we both personally enjoyed. And being able to get seated right away was worth it! The older gentleman was so kind, this place is severely underrated! If you want quick service with no wait and fantastic food you should definitely check it out! Also with the bbq you get a scoop of green tea ice cream! It was sooo good and not expected so it was nice little treat! We will be back when we come back to San Fran!!!
