Contribuisci feedbackIt was my first time trying this place. The price and quality were excellent. However, the dumplings were very soggy, not fresh, and lacked flavor. The Mongolian beef was tender and tasty but there were mostly onions . Overall, very disappointed for first impression.
First off, you cannot use Egg Beaters when making Egg Foo Young. It comes out doughy and chewy. Real eggs aren 't that expensive. The worst Egg Foo Young I 've ever had. I 'm born/raised in San Francisco and have eatin a lot of Chinese food in my day (Chinatown, Clement St., Irving St., San Bruno St. Also, how can you be named Dumpling King and serve frozen Potstickers? I just basically threw my money away. I will NEVER order from here again.
We got 5 different types of dumplings and none of them were good. The soup dumplings had little or no soup and all the dumplings were really doughy and oily. They also just don't taste good.
I go here a lot. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. I get the wonton soup and sweet and sour pork. This appears to be a family run business with dad acting as busy, but affable waiter and granny acting as cook and mom and kidshelping with the ever-present take-out orders. I prefer to eat in. There is nothing fancy about the decor, but I like thesimplicitude of it and the friendly service.
Awesome dumplings to go! The spicy wonton ones were most popular and we delicious. One serving fills you up and the flavor is very unique. The peanut tone helped with that. Will ask for some spicy red next time.
