Slate - San Francisco

I had one of the best karaoke nights of my life! There was an $8 cover charge, which surprised me initially, but it was definitely worth it! The KJ plays amazing saxophone and there are cool smoke effects that make the experience even more exciting. It was such a blast!

I had a pretty good experience at karaoke on Thursday night. However, I wish they had a cocktail menu. The bartender was able to whip something up, but it wasn't particularly enjoyable.

This is a lovely, relaxing bar with friendly bartenders. They offer private events, and on Thursdays, they host karaoke night with DJ Purple, who is the best karaoke host I've ever encountered.

You had a mezcal cocktail that was fantastic, and the ambiance reminded me of a beautiful diamond pool table with quality cues!

Slate Bar is a great dive bar to check out in the Mission, especially if they have live music scheduled! I stopped by to meet a friend who was performing with her band, and it turns out she's never been to Slate before. The bartenders were quick and efficient, making sure everyone at the bar was served promptly. The space itself is quite spacious, with plenty of room to stand along the walls. For those interested, there are a few pool tables available towards the back of the main area. Overall, the atmosphere was lively and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time! I definitely need to keep an eye on this place for future events.
