But just like the other Super Duper Burgers, you can't get pickles on the burger and they only provide large chunk pickles not conducive to placing on a burger. Very frustrating since they are actually delicious pickles so they lose a star for that. C'mon people, I just want to have a nice juicy burger complemented by some pickle slices!
UNLIMITED PICKLES! I decided to combat my hunger with a trip to Super Duper Burger. This place is conveniently located Close to my favorite dive bar in the city, Stephs. The Four Cheese burger is best described as a grilled cheese with a patty. Melts in your mouth. The french fries are hand cut and perfectly fried. But let's not leave out the best detail of our they have sliced whole pickles that are crispy! You could eat an entire jar if you wantedto! Definitely worth a tr
Do you know what's cool? I am a huge fan of burgers, so I use to go a lot to Super Duper, then I became a vegetarian, and guess what? I can still go a lot to Super Duper! Their vegetarian menu could be bigger, but at least there is something! I would suggest something based on tofu or tempeh to increase the veggie options? That being said the veggie burger is delicious, filling and tasty. The fries are excellent. And the pickles are delicious! Every single consumableis compostable, and having a zero waste option let you enjoy your burger with a certain peace of mind. The glass are made of glass (that sounds stupid but some people build glass out of plastic, and that sounds really stupid). Service isfast, efficient, clean.
I?m not sure what the hype is about at this place. Don?t get me wrong, the burger ain?t bad but it ain?t special either. The regular fries are just...well, fries. Flavor-wise it?s very plain but the garlic fries were actually pretty decent. Then there?s the burger. I wish they toasted the buns a little because they were just too dry. The patty was fine but the buns really killed it for me. Overall I?d say it?s an OK burger joint but definitely not worth the long line duringpeak hours.
Even though I?m no stranger to the Super Duper Burger brand, it was my first time visiting the new Montgomery Street. Even though this location is smaller than the traditional locations in the city, it still packs that same Super Duper Burgers flavor. They offer breakfast until 11:00 am, which consists of egg, bacon, and sausage sandwiches. Though breakfast is good, Super Duper draws in its largest crowd at lunch. As in the name, Super Duper has fantastic burgers, fries, ice cream, and chicken sandwiches. No matter what your fancy, they have a burger for you. I got the grilled chicken sandwich on a Kaiser roll with the garlic aioli and it was good. The only thing left to be desired was the amount of fries Ireceived. For the cost of Super Duper, you don?t expect to shortchanged on any aspect of your meal. Super Duper has to do a better job of filling up the fries. Last cool thing, was each customer was offered a FREE donut (chocolate or glaze)from the batch made in the morning for breakfast. Definitely worth visiting!
