Visited SF in the week of Dreamforce. I saw this brand enough to finally try to get home before my flight. Burgers and ice cream are delicious. No reason to give less? Cons: It is a very oil-driving oily type of burgers. It is comparable to Gladiator in Canada. It's dripping creepy, heart clogs fat. But if this is your thing, it tastes good. Chocolate dive is hard and thick. Ice is not the creamy way, but more the icy way, friendly like TCBY. Not my cup of tea, I like the fact that there is a junior version. It's a bit slow, and not the nicest staff, but they could be burned out of the sudden 40k visitors this week, directly over the conference building.
Great burgers, a lot of seating, okay pommes. The burgers are perfectly cooked, juicy and a good size. However, the frits are not really crispy, and my garlic friries were barely lick. You can get salad, red onion, jalapenos, grilled onions and tomatoes for free. If you're frugal, maybe you could make a salad. You can place an order on a kiosk, with a human cashier, or via a website. I also have a cookie and a cream-kid-glitter and it tasted just as expected, like vanilla ice cream and oreo cookies. There are two seats if you like to dive, but Yerba Buena Gardens is right outside if you like to eat on a bench or grass.
Yum. If you're looking for a fast casual experience, that's pretty solid. Note that the burgers and pommes are on the fat side, but delicious. Expect to pay 8-$11 for a burger or her spicy chicken sandwich. I always get the garlic fries; they are crispy, with garlic and cheese on top. Not too much for the indoor atmosphere, but there is a good amount of seating and is pretty busy.
In the mood for a bite I checked Google Maps for some of the top rated spots near the convention Center, and Super Burger came up toward the top of the list. In hindsight, for a burger, fries beer with tip $35 was pretty hefty. After a short walk I entered the quaint 2 story establishment and ordered from the settle service kiosk (yes, ordering via mobile was an option but as an out of owner seemed like top much work. I picked the Jalapenos Aged Cheddar fries, which was more like fries with a some garlic and jalapeno on the side, and the SUPER BURGER JACK Bacon Fried Organic Egg (cooked sunny side up) it was good but boy was it messy with the yoke ? To top things off, I really LOVE their home made pickles. I really enjoyed the fact they had draft beer on tap and picked the RACER 5 IPA, which was a great way to wash down the meal. Not a bad meal but definitely not a wow factor, especially with price.
