My friend and I enjoyed the ambience here. The sushi was well made, great quality, and beautifully presented.Food: 5/5
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The customer service from start to finish was terrible. We waited in the cold to be seated due to loud music. It took 10-15 minutes for our water and soda to arrive once we were seated. The sushi rolls came before the appetizers, the oysters were not served on ice, and our drinks came last. When we tried to order in stages, the server insisted that we order everything at once. The service was so poor that we chose not to leave a tip. The server even confronted us about this, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We decided to leave without finishing our meal due to the awkward situation. The server continued to ask us in front of other guests and staff members why we did not tip. This experience was very disappointing, and I hope this review warns others about what to expect at this restaurant.
This lovely restaurant in Inner Sunset is a hidden gem with a charming back space that can be reserved for private parties. It is a traditional sushi spot with fresh fish, though it lacks some of the more unique nigiri options found in high-end omakase restaurants. The grilled Hamachi kama is well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, I would rate the food as a 4 out of 5.
This is a cute hidden gem in Inner Sunset with a good space in the back that can be rented for a private party. This is a typical day to day sushi joint. The fish was pretty fresh but it's the standard fish not some of the unique nigiri pieces you may find in omakase restaurants. The Hamachi kama is grilled and what you would expect.Food: 4/5
