This fantastic authentic Irish pub transports us to Northern Ireland as soon as we step inside.

The Plough and Stars offers a vibrant atmosphere, featuring live Celtic music nearly every night and a lively Celtic jam session on Sunday afternoons. With pool tables, a great selection of beer on tap, and a relaxed ambiance, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some lively tunes.

I visited this bar to pass the time while waiting for the French restaurant to open. We chose to sit at the bar, where we were promptly attended to by an Irish bartender. He asked for our drink orders, and my significant other requested a Jameson Black Barrel on the rocks. When it was my turn, I hesitated and mentioned Jameson as well. However, the bartender quickly shook his head and pointed to another bottle in the whiskey section, exclaiming, "GREEN SPOT! That's the best one out there!" I decided to give it a try.

Fun even if the Niners lost today. Nice bartender. Nice patrons.
