Toast Eatery - San Francisco

I was meeting a friend in Noe Valley and was in the mood for a second breakfast. I decided to stop by the place with the neon sign that says “Eat Toast.” I couldn't resist trying the French Toast, which is made with either challah bread or croissants. So delicious!

It's a bit challenging to rate this place... My experiences have been a bit of a mixed bag. The restaurant offers a modern twist on the classic greasy spoon breakfast. Some dishes feel rather uninspired and lack flavor, while others can be quite enjoyable. On my most recent visit, I tried the Mediterranean scramble, which was quite tasty. However, I once ordered pancakes and found them to be no better than what you’d make from an instant mix at home.

Consider Toast as your dependable choice: it may not offer any culinary surprises, but you can always count on a delicious ham scramble.

Great Eggs Florentine and **** Marys. Would be better if they jammed the **** Marys full of veggies though. Super tummy and unpretentious low-key.

I've lived in Noe Valley for 5yrs and I have to say toast is by far the best breakfest place I've ever eaten at! From the food to the servers, all the way to the cute modern feel of the décor. The only thing I'd change is I wish they'd fry their bacon instead of baking it.
