To be fair, I haven't been to any really upscale Chinese restaurants, but I've always wanted to enjoy Kung Pao chicken because it sounds amazing. Unfortunately, most places I’ve tried include too many vegetables, are not spicy enough, or the chicken just isn't good. However, this restaurant nailed it in every way. The chicken was spicy and full of flavor, and there was a perfect amount of it. I requested it extra spicy, and I can definitely feel that extra kick from the spice they used. I give it a perfect 10/10—definitely order it with white rice!
**Food:** 4.5 - Fresh and well-seasoned. **Ambiance:** 3 - Decent atmosphere. **Service:** 4.5 - Attentive and helpful staff. The dishes offer a delightful balance of flavor and spice, making it my new favorite spot. They cater to all preferences, providing options for those who prefer milder tastes while also being generous with spices for those who enjoy a hotter experience. For two people, we spent $67.
Recently opened neighborhood Sichuan Restaurant. Great food at very good price, given Sichuan cuisines tend to be pricier. The best part here is how 'nice ' this place is for a Chinese restaurant. The store is very clean and waiters are very friendly, often stopping by to ask how our food is. Will come back again!
Delicious dan dan noodles and great service! Highly recommend the lunch specials as well
This is likely my favorite restaurant in San Francisco! The food is incredible when we order delivery, but somehow it tastes even better when we dine in. Don't miss the Dan Dan noodles, Yi Bin noodles, Mapo Tofu, and the iron pot spicy potatoes for an outstanding Szechuan experience. If you're looking to balance out the heat, the shredded potatoes with vinegar are also fantastic.
