Upcider - San Francisco

One-of-a-kind cider bar. Owner was super helpful educating me on his vast cider selection. The Flatbread was awesome. Support this biz in tough times!

Bewertung von 2018: upcider is a unique concept. they are specialized in zider on hahn, but also a few bottled beer. the vibe is really cool the bar is located in the second floor of a building directly on the corner of the polk road. on a busy day off or Saturday evening you can have a nice view of all who run around the polk road. they also have a few things on the menu. we ordered the sweet potatoes and the charcuterie plate.

Upcider is fantastic huge pickle wine selection, great eating (the flat brote are especially good,) and fantastic second floor sessions with a corner view. one of my favorite places in the city. They gave no notice that they are now on vacation (warf the waitress at the bar below to find out what's going on) and sounds like they're open in a few weeks again. (an update here or on its website would be helpful.)

Great selection of zider. cool mood. the food was a mixed bag. sandwiches were great. they would not recommend the meatballs or the flat brot.

We love upcider: we are Cid fans from Great Britain and yesterday we came back for the first time in six years after upcider! ömer is one of the owners. he is really friendly and has made many recommendations for us. I love the flights where they can taste 6 ciders for $25. even if they think that they don't like apple wine, he'll have something for them or there are many other alcohol also available. it is a great place for a date, catch up with friends, or business drinks. they can also host private events and eat great food. it's a pity how many independent companies have closed since kovid, so I hope that local and visitor keep upcider goes for at least six years.
