Small, unassuming restaurant with amazing food and friendly staff. Great healthy, vegetarian options! There is indoor and outdoor seating and pictures of my hero Emiliano Zapata all over the walls!

Worst experience! Waited almost a hour. Then we was informed it was slow, but food will be ready in 15 min. Waited another hour. Waiter said we could cancel. Had not even started preparing the food. Horrible should not be allowed to run a restaurant if this the standard!! Paid for drinks and left.

Nice artistic sense. Mayan and Mexican food well prepared. The service is attentive and unique. On the 59 street strip of many estaurants this is a good pick.

As I say down, looking at the menu with the server, the actual owner approached and tried to help me choose my food. She thought I didn't speak Spanish. Was lovely. Recommended a couple of dishes for my dietary requirements. I chose the huevos mexicanos but had them fried with frigoles, tacos with frigoles and cheese and a salsa with mixed spinach. Very tasty. Didn't think it would be big so ordered tamales with eggs and spinach. This was quite dry but the overall experience was great. Will definitively be returning.

We had the New Years Eve-menu and table booked at 9 pm. Not sure anyone knew what they were doing. We sat for 45 minutes without getting asked anything. Only 7 tables seated and 3 or 4 waiters unclear running around looking very confused and disoriented. Were they waiters? The menu contained a shrimp pasta loads of cream and three shrimps, taste ok half a glass of cider and 12 grapes in a little plastic bag: some kind of tradition but half of them were bad and uneatable? Representing the bad months? I ordered the only dessert on the menu: Dutch cheese cake, which was a regular cake, with loads and sugar and a cherry, and believee it ir not: grated cheese on top. It was the most distasteful dessert I’ve ever had since my wife once put corn in the fruit salad. But it’s sweet?! And it’s cheese cake! With cake and cheese!! How did this restaurant become travelers choice 2022??!
