The first visit I had a proper pizza, and my husband had a beautiful pork escalope. The next evening, we went with some friends. Nothing could be faulted. The service felt bespoke, and every thing came as ordered, really well cooked. We will return, the next time we are in the area.
We were dubious about sitting in a restaurant with pictures of food but by God don’t judge a book by its cover. I ordered the rabbit and it was some of the best barbecued meat over ever tasted. The owner is very welcoming and even stayed open for our group to go back there later that night for late drinks. We’ve returned 3 times in the 6 days we stayed, for lunch and dinners.
This popular restaurant on the Aldeas de Taray complex offers good Spanish food at reasonable prices. My boyfriend raved about the homemade French onion soup and chefs special burger. I went for the squid bites and opera of seafood. Portion sizes were huge and probably too big. Service was good although our main course arrived before we had finished our starter. My only fault was that the seafood dish was over salted but would definitely try this place again
