Meat Point - San Javier

We had never visited this restaurant it is a little hidden away near the tennis centre. But the service was excellent. Wine list had a good choice. A variety of steaks were ordered everyone came away satisfied.

I'm lucky enough to have a place at LMC and eat out regularly in the restaurants on site and in the nearby villages. The standard of food is generally very good wherever you eat. Meat Point is upstairs in the Tennis Complex at the centre of the Club. Its a shame the location isn't a little better. I've eaten there twice in the last few months and half a dozen times over the last couple of years. Even the smallest steaks are large and excellent value. The chips and accompanying vegatables aren't quite as good but are included. They tend to cook a steaks a little under what you might expect for medium or medium rare but they will check as they serve it and cook it a little more without any fuss. Out of season it can be a little quiet but they have a nice terrace. Never had an issue with the service and the wine list is reasonably priced.

Visited again this holiday We were able to sit on the terrace as the weather was kind As the name suggests this is good for steak etc Food and service were both very good as always

On arriving our six year old asked why he had two glasses and two knives and two forks. It’s just what they do in posh restaurants Max. Anyhow enjoyed the steak and our children had the chicken nuggets and chips which were listed in the starter section of the menu but can be served as a main.

I went to this restaurant yesterday with a friend, its an hours drive from our homes in La Mata but we really wanted to find a good steak place. Meat point did not disappoint us and having read some of the other comments about chips and vegetables we felt ours were very adequate and the Ribeye steak was the most important item on the plate, EXCELLENT!! The waiters Robert and Joaquin were very professional, attentive and knowledgeable with a great command of language. All in all we will DEFINITELY be coming back and with more diners next time.
