Aqui Blossom Valley - San Jose

Food used to be better at Aqui, now it’s very mediocre. The tables outside were literally wobbly and askew and for people who are imbibing industrial cocktails… no bueno.

I’ve been to Aqui’s three times and have enjoyed it all three times. The personnel there are so friendly. You order your food at the front counter before you sit down. You receive a buzzer and when it’s ready your buzzer goes off and you pick up your order. Very fast and efficient.I had the Free Range Chicken Enchiladas with ancho Chile sauce and also consisted of Yukon potatoes and Monterey Jack cheese. It was served with rice and chayote-zucchini, with iced tea.My sister had the Chicken and Monterey Jack cheese Quesadilla’s. We also had the Avocado Dip with tortilla clips.Of course Aqiu’s wouldn’t be complete without one of their famous Swirl’s. We had the Aqui Sangria Margarita Swirl, Industrial strength. They were awesome. It’s just something that you must try.

We took my MIL for her birthday. This was her choice. Service was great. Nice open floor plan with many different choices of seating. Bar, booth, indoor and outdoor. Restaurant was very clean and the people were friendly. I ordered the Blackened Salmon with Sweet Potatoes and it was every bit of heaven as it looks in the picture. ???

I've been going to this place with my friend a several times and it's really nice.She likes the margaritas (little pricey, but good) and she has a favorite chicken salad now.I'm not much of a drinker but they're good, heehee. There's a few things I like, but I especially love their avocado dip!I will keep going! ?

Our go-to place: you order and pay at the reception with the specials on display, then await your call to pickup your delicious meals, find your place and enjoy! And do not forget to get one (or two) of their great margaritas ?
