Contribuisci feedbackI highly recommend their nem rolls and banh xeo for a light lunch. The rolls come with a nice crunch which reminds me of one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Garden Grove. I like their bun rieu, mi quang not so much.Decent size restaurant, good service.
My gf loves this place for their banh xeo and bun dau mam tom. Typical asian restaurant with decent service. Will come back to try other items on the menu
This is my go to place for healthy greens. We usually get seated fairly quickly at this place. Tried the bò bía rolls this time, it was ok. The prices for the drinks are expensive so we usually don't get the drinks here. I like the bánh xèo with pandan. It has a hint of pandan flavor which I like.
Best Vietnamese crepes in the bay! Huge portions, with the perfect crunchiness with tasty fillings! We got the mushroom, squid and pork. Absolutely delicious! Banh Khot, which was my favorite, were these little fried mochi cups that each have shrimp, dried shrimp green onions! We also got a grilled pork plate, Bun Bo hue(Vermicelli Soup Special) Tai bo Bien (rare beef ball pho) and everything was so tasty!Restaurant was clean and had a lot of seating inside and outside.Service was wonderful and prompt! This is a must try in San Jose!
First time trying banh xeo (think omelette meets crepe) and it's just as delicious as I had hoped for! There's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Do note that you pay at the counter after you finish and most of the workers there don't speak English, so they were super confused when I asked for the bill. Here's what we ordered:Original Tumeric Banh Xeo w/ Shrimp, Pork, and Squid (4.5/5): not only were they generous with the veggies and bean sprouts, but they were also soooo generous with the amount of seafood and meat. The pork was so juicy and the squid was bouncy. Shrimp was a bit overcooked and not as bouncy as I would've liked. Was a bit worried about the tumeric flavor but honestly just tasted like eggs. Also loved how crispy the banh xeo was on the outside! Pandan Banh Xeo w/ Beef, Shrimp, and Squid (4/5): the pandan crepe was surprisingly good both alone and when dipped in fish sauce. The flavor makes the banh xeo a bit sweeter but it's not super strong/overpowering. Unfortunately the outer layer of the banh xeo was soggier than the original tumeric one and kept falling apart, so it was harder to eat. Also I preferred the pork over the beef since the beef was less fatty and flavorful, hence the lower rating.
