Blue Water Seafood And Crab - San Jose

The crab was tasty, but the medium spice lacked flavor. Many of my clams were empty, and the garlic noodles were just okay, as I prefer when the garlic is mixed throughout rather than just on top. The clam chowder was thick, almost like seafood oatmeal, and I had to add water to thin it out. The catfish bites were flavorful, but they were soggy in the to-go box. I would consider giving this place another try for dine-in, and maybe explore their drink menu. The staff was friendly and attentive during pickup, which was a plus.

I was disappointed to receive unsweetened tea at this restaurant. Additionally, the Crab Cake was falsely advertised as lump crab meat when it was actually back fin crab meat. The dish was way too overpriced for the quality of meat.

I ordered the Crab Shrimp Louie salad with thousand island dressing. The portion size was excellent however the salad was extremely watery which was weird. They also did not give me the dressing I asked for so I added lemon juice from the lemons but had to eat the salad dry : I apos;ve dined in here but this was my first time getting delivery. I apos;d consider this a bad experience that I won apos;t do again.

Overall, the dining experience was lackluster, especially given the high prices. The service was good, but the oysters were disappointing. We ordered the Miyagi oysters, but they were missing something. It was unique how the sauces were served in small dipping dishes. The tempura had a bland taste and the fried pickles were overly salty.
