Britannia Arms - San Jose

The restaurant features an excellent band from the '80s and '90s, and the drinks are delicious—especially the garlic fries! There’s a cozy dance floor if you feel like dancing to the music. Plus, it’s in a safe neighborhood.

Great place to watch NFL on sundays. Multiple screens so you can see the games no matter you sit. Staff and waitresses were friendly and matter sure we were OK. With Dj Brotha Reese playing music made it a party atmosphere.

Happy Hour is absolutely fantastic! The prices for both food and beer are very reasonable, and there's a great selection to choose from. I've definitely found my bar in the San Jose area! The bartenders are incredibly friendly, and the owner engages warmly with the customers, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal, have a pint or two, and catch some sports. The regular patrons are also very welcoming. I felt right at home here. Plus, the food is delicious! A big shout-out to the kitchen staff, and a special mention to Gabe behind the bar! I highly recommend this place to everyone, near or far!

Classic bookstore, but I have one issue with Barnes & Noble and many other local businesses: they fill their shelves with items related to witchcraft, dark spirits, and other negative themes that aren't beneficial for our young people to engage with.

Nice local dive bar that isn't too crowded. I went there several times with friends to watch basketball games which were shown on multiple TVs. Good beer selection. The food prices were outrageous however and some things were downright absurd. My friend ordered an appetizer of fried cheese sticks and they brought a plate of JUST 6 TINY CHEESE STICKS which cost a ridiculous $11. Everyone at the table just stared at the plate in silence as we couldn't believe our eyes. I thought it was so absurd that I spoke with the waitress, who was very nice and understanding but she was not the one who set the prices. You can come in to enjoy a beer but do yourself a favor and dont come in here with an empty stomach unless you want to spend a lot of money on mediocre food.
