Burger Pit - San Jose

This place is a san jose institution. I grew up with my family and I always go to the forest avenue location so we had to drive a little further to this place. but we always had our family meetings and fixed at the burger pit. Of course, the prices have risen over the years, but this is only due to the absolutely ridiculous cost of living in san jose over the decades. no fear of the praising. this device continues its quality of ingredients and recipes, making it worth its money. they will go out there with a full bodily feeling as if they had an amazingly swept grill meal. And the owners and the staff are mostly generation, so there are great care with their customers. many of these people were there when I was walking around as a child. now I'm 40 years old and it's literally like going into a time capsule. the same people, the same smile and the same excellent service. make sure they visit this place and take a bite before they close. the anwesen in san jose has become so egregios and annoying that institutions like the burger pit cannot afford to stay if they do not calculate them $40 for a cheeseburger. it is an absolute scandal that places like the burger dug that helped to create a great roll in the production of san jose, what it is, is not better honored and takes care of the city that helped to create. Don't miss them. go down and get yourself. a steerburger or speck steerburger, my personal favorite, and give some love to this wonderful group of business owners.

My friend and I wanted to go over the street to eat, then he saw it, it had outside seats, so we gave it a try. we both have a burger and pommes, and yes a beer..lolMy burger was perfect. the service was great, we have extra equipment and the server has checked us out. I'll be back.

Loved this old school burger/steak-joint. reminds me of my youth when there were burger pits everywhere. COVID rules make the experience somewhat sanitary, but I do not think that against burger piti saw a sign that their lease contract is not renewed and they have until mai 2024.

The place could use a fresh lacquer, but the taste of food and quality of the service more than for it. would definitely come back to try other elements in the menu

The steak was perfectly grilled, very soft and delicious. No salad bar but small salad was given with perfectly grilled buttered bread and fries. The clam chowder was very creamy and tasty. Very friendly environment and staffs. Loved it!
