The restaurant's prices are too high for the quality of their products, which are presented as brand new but lack the expected freshness. I believe their target market is wealthy individuals, but in my opinion, Chavez supermarket is nothing more than an average street vendor. While some may praise their cooked food, I find it to be similar to that of a typical food truck, overpriced and not necessarily worth trying.
Staff are rude in Taqueria. I made my order wrong and tried to argue with me about it instead of doing it right. Staff talk about me rudely in Spanish and shake their head. Try extra for cheese! No excuse or something. Bad service, it may not be so treated, especially when I came with a mobile order and was politely asked to get my Burritos right.
This restaurant is a prime example of how food poisoning can occur when establishments do not dispose of spoiled meat. It was evident that they were leaving their meat out until it was purchased, resulting in a strong odor of rotting meat throughout the entire shop. When we brought this up to the butcher, he appeared offended and dismissed our concerns. It was clear that the meat being sold was old and rotten, as it had a blackened appearance and a foul smell. Fresh meat should be pink or red, not black or discolored. Properly disposing of spoiled meat and ordering less would have prevented this unsanitary situation.
Please let everyone know that we're going to pay for our food. They have a lost of direction to working in the store. THANK YOU. RALPH OLMOS. FOR LETTING ME EXPLAIN MY EXPERIENCE, AND ASSURED THE PROBLEM WOULD BE FIXED..
