Happi House Famous Teriyaki - San Jose

I've been visiting this restaurant for many years—it's become a favorite! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. I always enjoy the teriyaki beef plate and the tempura, both of which are consistently excellent. Their teriyaki sauce, whether regular or spicy, is outstanding! I just tried the tempura shrimp, and it was amazing! The shrimp portion was a good size, which pleasantly surprised me. The locations in Japantown and on McKee are my top picks, but I was disappointed when the location by Blossom Hill closed down some time ago.

I love dining here because it reminds me of the “Happi” times. Food is good, price is good, service is good, and the atmosphere is truly American.

Ordered the teriyaki trio. Beef.....so so. Pork is much better!

Great food! We drive 15 miles from our house to this restaurant because we enjoy it so much. Let's help keep this place open by coming here for lunch or dinner. You'll be glad you did!

Food was okay. What you can expect from a fusion fastfood restaurant. The Asian salad was good though. The flavors merged well together.
