House Of Bagels - San Jose

This is the best bagel shop I've ever visited. I love getting a sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel, along with an iced chai. I highly recommend this place—you’ll be addicted!

This place is always bustling! I was fortunate enough to stop by on a Friday afternoon when there were only a few people in line, unlike the weekends when the wait is much longer. I took the chance to order a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese. It wasn’t anything extraordinary—it tasted just like a bagel from any other shop—but they sure do serve it quickly!

I've been going here for years so I'm not sure why it never occurred to me to write a review. This place is simply the best bagel shop I've ever been to. They have a wide variety of bagel types (plain, jalapeño cheese, cheese, pesto, whole wheat, and many others as well as bagel dogs and a huge selection of cream cheese choices. They also have a bunch of drink options including coffee (lattes, mochas, etc. . Sometimes there's a line, but it always moves pretty quick. At the busiest time, I've never waited more than ten minutes.On a separate note, the lady behind the counter is the best. Everyone is pretty friendly while staying efficient and great at their jobs. You simply won't find a better bagel place in the bay.NOTE: there are other house of bagels locations and while they do have bagels, they don't hold a candle to this place.

This is the best bagel shop I’ve ever been to!Phenomenal service! They always remember your order. Sometimes there’s a line, but the line moves quickly as they are super efficient. Great coffee too!

The picture speaks for itself, the bagel here was the best bagel in town and it comes from a tiny mom&pop shop so u know they mean business. I got this and a sausage egg and cheese bagel but get this, each bite is like sipping a cold sprite but from McDonalds on a hot day. Like allowing your mouth to leave your body and jump into a cold pool that refreshes your senses and makes your body feel... out of body. Would recommend to anyone.
