It wasn't spicy at all, although it still tasted good. The portion was quite large and definitely filled me up. The tea was sweet, but not overwhelmingly strong.
Had a pleasant experience with the lady behind the counter. Ordered chicken Tom Kha soup, drunken noodles, and Penang chicken. Everything was excellent and it’s my new favorite Thai joint! Can’t wait to go back and try lunch specials.
Be sure to try these dishes: Thai basil chicken, pad se ew with tofu, and pumpkin curry with shrimp. The flavors are outstanding, and the service is excellent. This is the best Thai food in San Jose. The menu is extensive, so come prepared!
This place is pretty good. Quickly jumped to 1st place in South San Jose. I had the Yellow Curry with Chicken, mild spice and brown rice. The vegetables were nice and big, fresh and the curry was seasoned perfectly. Our server was quite nice, ensured that we were satisfied and came by several times to make sure our water glasses were full. Oh and on Tuesdays they run a special for a free Thai tea with any lunch special purchase!
This is a lovely little place. It doesn't seem like its run by a bunch of dispassionate professionals (no offense) but by a family who just cooks well! For lunch they have the standard green, red, yellow, and Panang curries as well the the other things you'd expect. The lunch menu isn't terribly extensive, maybe only fairly tightly packed page, but the food is well above average. I come here whenever i have the chance which admittedly isn't as often as I'd like. I think it's worth the drive.
