King Eggroll Express - San Jose

The restaurant lacked a complete selection of dishes, and the dim sum was undercooked!

I found the prices to be high, and the rice was old and tough. Overall, the food was quite disappointing, especially when compared to King Egg Roll on Lundy Ave, which is much better.

My only issue is that the owner can be rude at times. They also add a random tax to all items, and even when you order ahead, you still have to wait in line to pick up your food. However, the egg rolls and chow mein are definitely the best in San José, no question about it! The staff member who works there is exceptional; the owner could really learn a thing or two about customer service from him.

Horrible customer service, I stopped by this place for lunch and the lady at the register was terrible. As it was my turn to order food she answered her personal phone speaking very loudly where she clearly could not have heard what I was trying to order. I asked her for 2 shrimp balls and she gives me 3. I ask for 2 egg rolls and she was trying to give me 3 as well. I then ask her for extra sweet and sour sauce and she says “there is no more and throws in siracha sauce” without me even wanting any. I would give this place an ZERO star if I could. Definitely not coming back to this place ?.

I have never had an issue with King Eggroll. We buy from them at least once a month. The lady I dealt with today on Leigh she was very rude. Seemed like I was bothering her phone conversation. Was not being very clear about quantities and prices. I ended up paying $68.00 for 34 eggrolls. Maybe that is the correct price but all I can do is try to calculate on my own as she didn't even give me a receipt. The friendly helpful service I am used to at ALL King Eggroll locations was not what I received today ? very disappointed.
