Milano Italian Pizza - San Jose

Should have noticed there were only 15 reviews before accepting the 4.5 rating. Buyer beware. Images on the website of the food are nothing like what was delivered. Buffalo wings appeared to be cheap frozen Sysco wings dipped in generic buffalo sauce. Milano pizza had so few toppings I could have counted them if I tried. Cheesecake was straight out of some box. I give 2 stars because food was delivered in 20 minutes and they have their own delivery team so we didn't have to pay DoorDash premium to have food delivered. If you want cheap fast food then okay, but don't expect this to be quality scratch made food. It's just a corner shop selling premade frozen stuff.

Ordered on Doordash and it was pretty great! I'm surprised there hasn't been more reviews. It is a no frills pizza spot and service was fantastic. I originally ordered the honey garlic wings, but they ran out, so someone called me to let me know and asked if I wanted an alternative flavor. The food arrived in less than 30 minutes and they even threw in a soda.

The two brothers that run this place are on top of their service and food. We ordered four medium sized pizzas with their recommendations, two orders of wings, and their specialty drinks (I forgot what they're called). At one point during our dining, a homeless guy walked in and he wanted to buy a liter of soda. As he gets it out of the fridge, he spills it and one of the brothers reassured the distraught man and gave him another soda at no cost. Not only was the food great, but these guys have character and I will keep coming when I'm in the SJ area.

I ordered a medium Milano's pizza but received a small instead. They credited me a certain amount, but what I got is in the picture on the right. I'm not sure if they ran out of toppings or if I was their last customer of the evening, but this looked like a frozen pizza you could buy at Safeway. I ordered at 5:30 PM, and when I tried a mushroom (which is in the center right spot that was supposed to have a topping), there was almost no red onion or Italian sausage. I would advise being cautious when ordering from this place.

The pizza here is simple and genuine. It's not fancy, but the price is fair, and there's nothing to complain about. I also enjoy the salads and garlic bread!
