Once Upon A Dosa - San Jose

The food was delicious and an interesting application on dosa. not enough to distract from the small portion size for a quite expensive meal. I asked about things, but didn't get one. Because it's a cloud kitchen, there's no one I can talk to from the restaurant, but the recipe gave me a series of dinosaurs and a fork that is enough to eat a waffel, I think? Tl;dr: tasty eating, full-service menu but taste the half of the part and no service. I'll fit.

What a great find! Waffle dosai idea is wonderful ...well executed, tasted fresh and clean! Rooting for this restaurant to become a hit! Packaging was great!

I found Once Upon A Dosa on doordash promo of 20% off up to $5. I LOVE the concept. It was really refreshing and exciting to see something different. The concept was really enticing. However, I think the items do not travel well via delivery. I ordered the Vanilla Berry and Coconut Mango Dessert waffles. These were not sweet at all. It was kind of bland while eating it. Not a lot of flavor bloomed out of any bites. I also ordered the Chia Rose Almond Milk which was light and refreshing. But it could have had a bit more flavor and chia seeds. I absolutely love this kitchen idea, I want to try the Chocolate Berry dessert waffle next.

Great food!! Good prices. Great value!! Dosa batter made on a waffle iron with great curries on top!! Various delicious sides. Our first exsperience with a ghost kitchen . Worked perfectly with Once Upon A Dose . Order perfectly packaged, hot, and ready to go. No hassles!! Loved this small operation and will order and enjoy there again!!

Delicious dosa in waffle form. Had great texture and great taste. Excellent toppings! We got a lot of different kinds, but the mushroom masala was out of this world. The chutneys were awesome! Held up well to take out.
